There are moments when I still feel you're with me but I have to remind myself that dogs do not live as long as people do. I am here and you are up there, things were changing and now we are miles apart. I missed the little things you'd do. The sound of your feet on the floor, the way you looked at me when you knew I munched the food that you like, the wag of your tail, the touch of your smooth, soft coat. But life goes on and makes new memories, memories to smile over and revel in. And I will always think of you as my best friend in the whole wide world, no matter where you are and what I'm doing.
