I have just started reading a new mafia novel, called The Godfather's Revenge by Mark Winegardner, so far it's keeping me engaged and greatly enjoying it. I have long been a fan of Mario Puzo and I've been one of those people who didn't see the movie until I finished reading the book. Well, I am not particularly fond of the mafia/organized crimes genre but I found the Godfather Trilogy movies (just like the book) is very compelling and interesting. It's totally draws you in and you will just watch it again and again and again. Has anybody read this book? What's your opinion?

A good idea on finishing a book before watching the movie. Because usually I keep asking Gus what's happening during the movie.
Love Mario Puzo and am currently reading Roberto Olla's The Godfathers: lives and crimes of the mafia mobsters. The Godfather movie trilogy is a legend, just like The Sopranos; which I didn't like previously but now an addicted to :)
