Today marks the 42th year of my life. When you get to my age, you’d be less than thrilled, but the darn things come around every year anyway.
Everyone who loves me tells me I don’t look forty-two, whatever that means. I’ll take it as a compliment. Yesterday when I got my family for lunch together I didn't mention about my birthday at all, and they seemed not to remember it either despite the cake that was being presented as a dessert. I invited them quite often they thought it was just another lunch with me...LOL! But my youngest sister sent me a birthday text message five days ago though. She thought it was on Feb 20. Well, there's a mixed up birth date between me and my younger sister, I, but the two of us know our real birthdays. Today she and her daughter, L, sent me a picture b'day message. So I'll count my blessings, enjoy the days and the year.
